About Pulaski Technical College

Students

Spring 2009 headcount enrollment in college credit programs was 9,812, making Pulaski Tech the largest two-year college and fifth largest higher education institution in Arkansas.

Students enrolled in degree and certificate programs average 29 years of age.

Pulaski Technical College has an enrollment of 32 percent male and 68 percent female; 46 percent white; 50 percent African-American; 4 percent other.

Eighty percent of Pulaski Tech students hold part- or full-time jobs while attending the college.

Faculty

Pulaski Technical College employs 336 full-time faculty and staff and approximately 370 adjunct faculty.

Academic Programs

Pulaski Technical College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association, 30 North LaSalle Street, Suite 2400, Chicago, IL 60602, (800) 621-7440.

Pulaski Tech offers more than 50 associate degree and certificate programs of study.

Pulaski Tech maintains articulation agreements with the accredited universities in its service area.

Pulaski Tech's continuing education and business outreach program is one of the largest of its kind among two-year colleges in the state, serving approximately 3,569 individuals in 2008.

Last year, Pulaski Tech provided customized training programs for more than 160 area businesses and industries.

Pulaski Tech is the largest source of transfer students to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
