How Computeck Began

Founder

Hello, everyone. My name is Cassandra Greer, and I established Computeck on the Web. Actually, my business started out when I was a freshman in college, living on campus, and you know my pockets were empty. I began by helping my fellow classmates with their computer problems for a small fee and the cost of parts in order to earn some extra spending cash.

As time went on, I began to get more business than I could handle alone. By my sophomore year, I had made several acquaintances that were aspiring computer technicians, who did not mind the extra cash, therefore I began recruiting some help. At this point, I took on a management role. I dealt directly with the customers and assigned the jobs to the tech's. After the work was done, I would keep 10% of the payment for myself, and the rest went to the tech who performed the work.

During my senior year, I decided that I wanted to establish Computeck as an actual business, in order to expand. I opened the central office in Little Rock, AR, and setup Computeck's official website. Currently, I have repair shops at 100 locations across the U.S. with a staff ranging from 30 - 50 employees in each location. So far, Computeck has been successful for 5 years running, and I hope this success will last for many more years to come. In the future, I plan to expand the company further by increasing the number of locations on a national and international basis.
